Business plan for 1.5Million loan?
Im a secretary at an automotive shop and my boss has been working on starting up a biodiesel fuel business. Hes talked to several people so far and Monday he has an appointment with the governer to see about getting a 1.5 million dollar loan. Everyone hes spoke with said that its looking good but he needs a business plan. He said hes never had to type one up hes somewhat elderly and said all they used to do was just handwrite something and he wants me to type it up and do it. He gave me about two pages of written information about the business and cost expenses and told me to make it look professional. Im really kind of clueless as to what he wants and I dont think he really knows either. So whats best? Do I just type it up in Word and add a professional header and footer?

Go to the Small Business Administration web site they have instructions and templates for doing a professional looking business plan. For 1.5 million he may need something relatively detailed so you may have to go back to him for more info but the directions are relatively easy to follow. http://www.sba.gov
