Everyone in my address book was sent this message by face book and Im angry.?
Has anyone else had this happen to them that business associates and people who you might not wish such an email sent to them has been done without your permission by face book? How do they get away with this stuff? How can we stop them? Does it seem unethical to you that someone should hack into your address book without your permission and send an ad to everyone signing your name to it without authorization? Here is the email they sent to everyone in my address book which I never gave them nor did I authorize them to send this to everyone in it Here is the letter everyone in my address book received without my approval: Check out my photos on Facebook Hi XXXXyahoo.com I set up a Face book profile where I can post my pictures videos and events and I want to add you as a friend so you can see it. First you need to join Face book Once you join you can also create your own profile. Thanks my name was signed by face book without my permission I have business associates and officials and others in my address book who I do not wish such a letter sent to. I never expected face book could or would hack into my address book to send them all this message. Someone else told me they did it to them some time in the past and they too were upset. Sure face book wants more members but do yo think anyone has a right to write a letter and sign your name to it private address lists without your express permission? If this has happened to anyone out there please respond and tell me how did you feel when it did? And if it didnt happen to you tell me how you would feel if it did. And if you have an idea on what we can do to stop them from this outrageous behavior please share it.
