I have a dilemna as whether I should get my own place or remain with my parents at home?

I am a lady that just turned 42 years old a few days ago. I am a registered nurse by profession. My mom and dad are 74 and 79 years old respectively. My parents are very loving and supportive but sometimes a bit overprotective especially my father. I am the only adult child left at home. My only sister lives in New Jersey with her family. I am single no children no boyfriend. My parents encourage me to buy a home and rent them part of it. We have been living on this same block from 1965. This rent money is mortgage money. I just want to be there for my parnets just in case they get sick and need my help. Howevever I also want to get more space for myself and expand a bit. One real estate agent told me that there are some brand new coops available here in Brooklyn. Part of me dont want to leave thembut part of me want to venture out and see life for myself. I have my father asking me at 7pm You are just coming in? I have my mom telling me Clean up your room Have you ever heard of a 42 year old lady with a curfew and no social life? Well thats me. Any suggestions?
