Decoration committee help: theme fall?

Decoration committee help: theme fall?

I have been appointed the high schoolstudent counsel Decoration Committees president. Mega cool. As my first assignment I have to design/sketch out my plan to decorate the halls and gathering areas for fall. Sounds easy right?.....Not really. At least not given the situation of the school/counsel. My school is relatively new and very small. We have around 550 students max of K12 grade. This is actually the first year that we have had seniors. I am a junior as of now. 2nd graduating class ever The campus is small and plain. Our building use to be a Winn Dixie in the 90s closed in 96 then opened as a school in 2007. So over all we are small charter school. This is the first year that we have had student counsel. There is less than 30 students on the counsel. It is vital that we get started on our activities/agenda for the year. One major problem: We have no money. The fundraising committee I am VP of that committeeis hard at work making plans for the fall festival and how to raise money for that event. The decoration committee is on their own to decorate the school. I have 8 students in my committee but I am expecting about 2 more to join plus some outofcommittee help 2 maybe. I can request no more than 10 from each of my committee members to help fund our decoration plan. How/What do I do to decorate the school? I need examples of DIY crafts that can be done on a budget but still look tasteful. The theme is FALL NOT HALLOWEEN OR THANKSGIVING. I already have some ideas but I want to go above and beyond while still in budget Homemade scarecrow in the lobby Painted paper leaves acorns and pumpkins other gourds with gold paint accents. Festive painted banners Giant brown tissue paper tree with a few leaves A paper fence that boarders the walls Painted ravens/crows in trees on fences Crepe paper streamers. Paper leaf mobiles Those are just my main ideas thus far. Does anyone have anything to add or edit from that? If so what and how do you make/do it? keep it school appropriate I have workers and help mwahaha but I have to stay in a safe budget and make the school look nice. I am an above average artist who loves a challenge and is good with working with my hands. I can easily learn instructions on how to make something then relay it back to my team. Dont hold back on the ideas
