Weight loss help???

I am doing a low calorie diet..500 calories a day to be exact. I eat nothing but veggies fruit and lean protein.. I have only been drinking water and green tea sweetened with stevia as well. I do light stretching and exercising for about 30 min. a day. I am not sure if this is healthy but I have 50 extra lbs. that I want to get off of me Does anyone have any advice? I am also getting hunger pangs and I want to know if there is anything I can do to help get thru them??

First thing eat more calories By starving your body you are doing the exact opposite you want it to do. By eating this little you are slowing your metabolic rate. Meaning that exercise youre doing is practically burning no fat or calories. By eating so little you are putting your body into STARVATION mode. This means your body will conserve anything it gets. In fact you might look a little heavier because your body is trying so hard to keep fat. I suggest you eat at the VERY LEAST 1300 calories a day. Eat a good mix of carbs whole wheats veggies fruits Protein lean meat like you said and Fats fish and nuts. Regardless of what society says you NEED fats to survive Just make sure you are eating unsaturated fats. Stay clear of hydrogenated fats. Saturated fats are okay if they are in something like steak chicken or nuts. To boost your metabolism for optimal weight loss do not eat 3 meals a day. Rather eat 6 7 small meals. DRINK WATER. For every ICE COLD glass of water you drink your body burns 50 calories. This is because your body burns energy bringing the cold water to body temperature for digestion. And if youre feeling hungry drink a glass of water and wait a couple of minutes. Our brains often mistaken hunger with thirst.
