Why does FDA deny evidence of tea benefits through scientific studies?
FDA claims tea consumption does not prove any significant health benefits and it cannot have any cardiovascular health benefits. However numerous tea studies done by Japanese universities confirm that tea consumption does have significant health benefits. So is FDA a liar or the Japanese universities a liar? Japanese have done tea studies for decades and 1000s of studies have been done on green tea white tea black and oolong tea too. Then on what basis FDA denies benefits of tea? Example is link below http://www.nutraingredientsusa.com/Research/Oolongteafightsfatandcholesterol Also pharmaceutical companies deny tea benefits for cardiovascular health. Those companies make medications for heart disease. The FDA then beats the drum after them

Because the FDA is corrupt and paid off by the drug companies

I dont know. It could have to do with the types of tea/amounts they were using in the studies. I dont think the FDA is really willing to invest a lot of research into tea. Its not a huge part of our culture. In Japan tea is hugely important... both ceremonially and in terms of health. I live on green tea. It reduces the inflammation in my acne better then anything else.

If its helping you then drink the tea. You dont need government approval to do everything just yet.

Despite being some of the heaviest smokers in the world the Japanese live among the longest. I believe that is because of tea usage and fish/rice diet. It also has something to do with their size as smaller people tend to live longer. I am wondering if Mormons are in on this. They insist that drinking tea is so bad that it is regarded as a sin. Nothing could be further from the truth. Tea has antioxidants. Habitual tea drinkers also hydrate and dehydration is one of the ten most common reasons why people do not live as long as they should. Coffee shares the same benefits.
