How fast is technology developing right now and How will the world look like in 2109?
By looking back into the 1900s its easy to see that many new technological devices were invented back than but now its not noticeable that any new devices are being invented nor there are any important people who invent them. Like for example you could look up who invented the radio or the television or the telephone but now try to find out who invented the IPod or the PlayStation or etc. Somebody invented them but these were companies and not individual people. The thing is right now the technology is being sort of updated its being modified to be better. From those small screen Lamp televisions that looked like furniture cabinets we now have flat screen televisions and from a computer the size of a room we now have laptops and small computers. So if that technological progress will continue as its now what can we expect technology to look like 50 or a 100 years from now? I seriously have no idea this is mind buzzling. What will televisions look like in the future will they be a holograms like now we have Plasma in the future we may have holographic TVs why not? How about the phones what will they look like will they get any smaller than they already are? What will the City look like a 100 years from now? It really seems like a long time and I would really like to see how will the world look like a 100 years from now. But I have one more question given the opportunity would you go into the future lets say a 100 years from now? But knowing that it would be a one way trip which would mean that you wont be able to go back thats Einsteins formula of General Relativity Time travel is possible but in one way only to the future. So would you want to go to see and live in the world of 2109? Seriously what will it look like would it be better than it is today and seriously how different will it be how will everything in 2109 be different than in 2009? Its true that Time travel will never be possible but for an individual person that went from the year of 2009 to 2109 it will be. In the future as man kind will go deeper into space at higher speeds time dilations will certainly take place itll all depend on their speed.

time travel will never exist i believe everything will be pretty much the same just a little different. just like it has been for years and years

Well youre right companies took over because technology is getting more and more advanced and their is alot of competition so its difficult for persons to carry the load alone.. not to forget that all this is happening in a globalized world the info are circulating the globe very quickly. One new insight or breakthrough in some region in the world is directly being viewed in other regions and by other large companies try to over come it.. so the whole thing with technology and new inventions is like a never ending process.. Thats my opinion.. and concerning how things will look like. Well its very difficult to anticipate such things but sometimes i got mails like Japanese are working on this computer that is a set of five pens that can be turned into small projectors and show the screen and key bord.. I dont know if this is already done but I mean things will be smaller and more sophisticated.. Also this new Nokia mobile that is somehow elastic and can be turned around like a bracelet.. In general I think life is going to be complicated especially in a social/cultural sense.. Economy is already complicated and interconnected.. Probably differences between rich and poor will increase and inequalities as well.. About your last paragraph.. Its really interesting to think about such thing.. For me Probably I will do such thing provided that Ill be the same person that is same memory and conscious of our time now in order to compare things.. maybe write about.. though it might look useless and not interesting because you wont be able to go back to now and tell people how things are.. But still why not? Thanks for sharing such ideas..its really nice and as you said mind buzzling sometimes..

2109....cars are powered by rechargeable batteries in fact while the car runs on one battery an alternator charges up the battery not in use and can be switched as need be....perpetual motion magnetic generators will power cool and heat homes schools and office buildings accompanied with giant wind turbines ....solar energy will also assist in powering tankers and other ships boats and assorted water craft ..2109 man has discovered how to warp space and bend time now the speed of light is the slowest speed man can travel in space thanks to gravity generators.
